My topic idea for the final paper would is a test between how social media is affecting the teenagers or just technology in general. There have been many interesting studies regarding the influence of technology and how my generation is considered "lazy" due to all this new and upcoming technology, and I feel as if it would prove to be an interesting topic with a large amount of information. Attached is an example that I had seen on Facebook relating somewhat to the topic.

"Paying for the Party" is a good starting point, and perhaps you should get ahold of the complete book to read. You can find an additional excerpts from the book on our Sakai site to start, under "supplemental readings." You should also look through their references. Their work with class is pretty original, though, so it might be hard to find other sources that support this line of discussion directly. Maybe you can research social networking and college -- that might be more fruitful and allow you to explore the same issues.
ReplyDeleteActually, rereading your post I recognize that you thought you were supposed to write about your Analytic Essay for this blog post. That is not what the blog should be about. The blog is intended to support your final paper. So I want to know what you are thinking of writing about for the FINAL PAPER. That's what you should post about.
